On Friday 11 August Newcastle High School hosted another interesting and highly informative science expo for primary school learners to experience.
On the day 8 primary school’s brought in total around 230 learners to come and view 42 projects and/or exhibits that NHS learners had set-up for them to enjoy. Exploding water bottles, bleeding iron, fertilizers from coffee powder and growing sugar monsters were some of the projects on display for the learners to enjoy.

Our learners excelled in presenting quality projects to the learners and all had a great day experiencing science in a fun and practical way. They all left by saying “science is fun”. We would like to thank all the primary school’s for allowing some learners to attend, teachers who accompanied the learners and NHS staff and learners who organized this successful science experience day.
